Answers to all your Questions

Everyone has questions, we all do! So we’ve tried to put together all the most frequently asked questions that we’re asked. Hopefully you’ll find your answer but if you don’t just let us know because if you’ve thought of it, someone else may have too, but just not asked!
So here goes!

General Questions

Do you have a catalogue?

We don’t have a catalogue I’m afraid, the reason for this is because our stock changes so frequently. We’re a boutique so we don’t buy items in big quantities. More often than not we just have one or two of a size, so our customers are not going to meet 10 of their dress when they are on a night out! We prefer to get lots of deliveries really often and to always have new pieces instore. In fact most weeks we get 2 or 3 or even more deliveries, so it’s just not possible to do a catalogue BUT we do have a really active Facebook page so you’ll see lots of new arrivals, as they hit the floor, there.

Where will I find the very best selection of your stock?

Our online store has a pretty good representation of what we do instore. We can never manage to get all our stock online, but we get as much as we can. For the very best selection though we’d love you to visit our store in Raheny and you’ll have the full Tempted experience. If there’s something you really want and you can’t find it here pop us a mail and we’ll do our very best to get some pics off to you of some options.

How often do you have sales?

We have 2 major sales a year, at the end of our Summer Season (mid to end July) and after Christmas, usually December 27th. We always do a pre sale day for our regulars on our mailing list so join here and you’ll get notice about when the sale starts and get to come in a day early and get first choice. We’ll also keep you up to date if we have any special offers, or stylist visits etc throughout the year.

Do you do vouchers?

We sure do, we have Curvy Cash, the only currency a curvy girl could want! Its available in €5, €10, €20 and €50 denominations and it comes beautifully gift wrapped. We can also deliver our curvy cash if they just can’t get to the store in time (well we wouldn’t want you to go without now would we). Just give them the nudge to give us a call and we’ll do the rest or they can order online here

I’m not happy about something, who do I get in touch with?

Me, Rosemary, you’ll get me on rosemary@tempted.ie or you’ll get me most days in Raheny on 01 831 4293. Sometimes things happen, things go wrong, we make a mistake. We try not to, but ….. If that happens I want to hear, I want to hear what happened and see can we sort something out for you. We’re not a faceless company that doesn’t care about our customers, we’re a family business that wants our customers to be happy with what we do, so please please please get in touch with me if somethings gone wrong. Obviously I’d love to hear from you too if something’s gone right, and thankfully our customers are great at letting us know that too!

Ordering & Delivery Questions

I’m between sizes and I really don’t know what size to order, what should I do?

Sizes are hard to know really aren’t they, especially if you’ve never shopped with us before. If you’re unsure in any way about what size to order give us a call on 01 831 4293 and we’ll talk you through the fit of anything that’s catching your eye. We know the fit of all our products inside out, so once we have a chat we’ll know what will work best for you. If you can’t give us a call then drop us a mail on info@tempted.ie and we’ll get right back to you.

What I want is out of stock in my size, is there any hope it will be back again?

It may well be, so click on the button to say let me know if it’s available again in my size and we’ll let you know if and when it does. Alternatively drop us an email and we might be able to suggest something else to you that would be equally fabulous!

How do I know you got my order?

When you place an order you’ll get an order confirmation email, detailing everything you purchased, where its being delivered to etc, if you can’t find your order confirmation in your inbox check your spam folder as it might have gone there instead

Aghh I’ve just noticed I made a mistake on my order, what will I do?

Give us a call on 01 831 4293, if it hasn’t been sent yet we should be able to rectify it.

I made an order last night and I’ve been dreaming about another piece! I want to order it, what will I do?

Don’t you just love those dreams, then you know you really want it! Give us a call on 01 831 4293, if your order hasn’t been sent yet we should be able to add it to your package without a further delivery charge.

I can’t wait to get my order, How long will it take to get to me?

We aim to get every order out as soon as possible, and because we use An Post for our Irish deliveries they get to you super quick. As a general rule, if the order is in by 12 midday you will generally get it the very next day, (so Mondays order gets to you on Tuesday and so on). We don’t send orders, or deliveries aren’t made, on a Saturday or Sunday so Friday’s orders will be delivered on Monday and anything ordered over the weekend should reach you by Tuesday.
International orders also go by An Post and obviously take a bit longer, allow a week for the UK and Europe and a little bit longer if you’re further afield. If you’re concerned in any way though just give us a call or drop us a mail.
All deliveries will require a signature on arrival so if you’re not at home during the day you might be best to give a work address or an address of someone who you know will be at home during the day to take the delivery.

Do you know what, Ordering online is not for me, I much prefer to do it over the phone, can I do that?

Absolutely, sometimes you just need to talk and we’re the other end of the phone anytime between 10 and 6, Monday to Saturday. We’d much prefer to have a chat with you, iron out all your queries and take your order over the phone than you place an order online and then be unhappy with what you’ve bought. As they say “Its’s good to talk”

Returns Questions

I’m always afraid to order online in case it doesn’t work on me, what’s the returns policy?

It’s very different ordering online to buying instore so everyone is obviously concerned about what happens if it doesn’t work when you get it in your door. Any item bought online through tempted.ie that isn’t suitable can be returned within 7 days once the usual are adhered to; the tags remain intact, it hasn’t been washed or worn and it is in its original condition etc.

We offer exchanges or refunds for online purchases for full price items and items reduced by up to and including 50%. When something is reduced by more than 50% we say then that its reduced to clear so in that case we offer an exchange or a credit note which can be used again to buy something else. Postage costs are not refundable unless you have been sent the item in error or the item is faulty. None of this affects your statutory rights, our instore policy on returns is different and again this doesn’t affect your statutory rights.

How do I make a return?

We’ve tried to make it as simple as possible. If something’s just not right for you give us a call or drop us an email. If you’d like to exchange it please do get in touch so we can hold the other piece for you until your return comes back. You have 2 choices as to how you make your return;

1) You can leave your return back to our store in Raheny, where we’ll be more than happy to help. If its an exchange we should be able to help you there and then and if it’s a refund then we can get all your details and it will be processed separately through our online system, or alternatively,

2) Pop your piece in the post back to us, we recommend using a recorded delivery so you’re sure it gets to us. Don’t forget to include your contact details and we’ll be in touch to process your return. Our mailing address is
