Answers to all your Questions

Everyone has questions, we all do! So we’ve tried to put together all the most frequently asked questions that we’re asked. Hopefully you’ll find your answer but if you don’t just let us know because if you’ve thought of it, someone else may have too, but just not asked!
So here goes!

General Questions

Do you have a physical store, or are you online only?

We have a gorgeous store in Raheny Shopping Centre in Dublin 5. We’re open Monday to Saturday 10am to 6pm and we’d love to see you! Our Eircode is D05 A4Y1 and we’re very close to both the Dart Station and lots of really frequent bus routes.

Do you have a catalogue?

We don’t have a catalogue I’m afraid, the reason for this is because our stock changes so frequently. We’re a boutique so we don’t buy items in big quantities. More often than not we just have a few of a size, so our customers are not going to meet 10 of their dress when they are on a night out!

We prefer to get lots of deliveries really often and to always have new pieces instore. In fact most weeks we get 3, 4 or even more deliveries, so it’s just not possible to do a catalogue BUT we do have a really active Facebook and Instagram pages so you’ll see lots of new arrivals, as they hit the floor, there.

Where will I find the very best selection of your stock?

Our online store has a pretty good representation of what we do instore but we can never manage to get all our stock online. For the very best selection we’d love you to visit our store in Raheny and you’ll have the full Tempted experience. If there’s something you really want and you can’t find it here pop us a mail info@tempted.ie or drop us a WhatsApp on 085 8522290 and we’ll do our very best to get some pics off to you with some options.

How often do you have sales?

We have 2 major sales a year, at the end of our Summer Season (end of July) and just after Christmas (usually December 27th) Do join our mailing list as then you’ll be the first to know and have the very best choice of all the sale goodies. We’ll also keep you up to date if we have any special offers, or stylist visits etc throughout the year.

Do you do vouchers?

We sure do, we have Curvy Cash, the only currency a curvy girl could want! Its available in €5, €10, €20 and €50 denominations and it comes beautifully gift wrapped. We can also deliver our Curvy Cash if they just can’t get to the store in time (well we wouldn’t want you to go without now would we). Just give them the nudge to give us a call and we’ll do the rest or they can order online here

I’m not happy about something, who do I get in touch with?

Me, Rosemary, you’ll get me on info@tempted.ie or you’ll get me most days in Raheny on 01 831 4293. Sometimes things happen, things go wrong, we make a mistake. We try not to, but ….. If that happens I want to hear, I want to hear what happened and see can we sort something out for you. We’re not a faceless company that doesn’t care about our customers, we’re a family business that wants our customers to be happy with what we do, so please please please get in touch with me if somethings gone wrong. Obviously I’d love to hear from you too if something’s gone right, and thankfully our customers are great at letting us know that too!

Ordering & Delivery Questions

I’m between sizes and I really don’t know what size to order, what should I do?

Sizes are hard to know really aren’t they, especially if you’ve never shopped with us before. We’ve added styling advice in the description of each piece online, this is based on our own experience trying on or seeing it on our customers.

If you’re still unsure in any way about what size to order give us a call on 01 831 4293 and we’ll talk you through the fit of anything that’s catching your eye. We know the fit of all our products inside out, so once we have a chat we’ll know what will work best for you. If you can’t give us a call then drop us a mail on info@tempted.ie and we’ll get right back to you.

What I want is out of stock in my size, is there any hope it will be back again?

It may well be, so click on the button to say let me know if it’s available again in my size and we’ll let you know if and when it does. Alternatively drop us an email and we might be able to suggest something else to you that would be equally fabulous!

How do I know you got my order?

When you place an order you’ll get an order confirmation email, detailing everything you purchased, where its being delivered to etc, if you can’t find your order confirmation in your inbox check your spam folder as it might have gone there instead

Aghh I’ve just noticed I made a mistake on my order, what will I do?

Give us a call on 01 831 4293, if it hasn’t been sent yet we should be able to rectify it.

I made an order last night and I’ve been dreaming about another piece! I want to order it, what will I do?

Don’t you just love those dreams, then you know you really want it! Give us a call on 01 831 4293, if your order hasn’t been sent yet we should be able to add it to your package without a further delivery charge.

I can’t wait to get my order, How long will it take to get to me?

We aim to get every order out as soon as possible, and because we use An Post for our Irish deliveries they get to you super quick. As a general rule, if the order is in by 12 midday you will generally get it the very next day, (so Mondays order gets to you on Tuesday and so on). We don’t send orders, or deliveries aren’t made, on a Saturday or Sunday so Friday’s orders will be delivered on Monday and anything ordered over the weekend should reach you by Tuesday.
All deliveries will require a signature on arrival so if you’re not at home during the day you might be best to give a work address or an address of someone who you know will be at home during the day to take the delivery.

Do you know what, Ordering online is not for me, I much prefer to do it over the phone, can I do that?

Absolutely, sometimes you just need to talk and we’re the other end of the phone anytime between 10 and 6, Monday to Saturday. We’d much prefer to have a chat with you, iron out all your queries and take your order over the phone than you place an order online and then be unhappy with what you’ve bought. As they say “It’s good to talk”

Returns Questions

I’m always afraid to order online in case it doesn’t work on me, what’s the returns policy?

We know, same here, it can be so hard to know what will work. But we’ve kept returning as simple as possible.

Anything you purchase online through tempted.ie can be returned to us within 14 days of you receiving it for a full refund or an exchange, whichever you prefer.

In every case we just ask that the usual is adhered to; the tags remain intact, it hasn’t been washed or worn and it is in its original condition without any odours etc. When you’re trying on, be careful of make up or fragrance as you know yourself no one wants to see that on clothes and we will be unable to accept your return if the piece is soiled in any way.

Sounds fair, what’s the story if I buy a Sale piece then?

It’s the exact same! It can be returned to us within 14 days of you receiving it for a full refund or an exchange, whichever you prefer.

None of this affects your statutory rights. Our policy on returns for items bought instore in Raheny is different, and again this doesn’t affect your statutory rights. Postage costs are not refundable unless you have been sent the wrong item (It has happened, we have those days too!) or the item is faulty, in which case we are so sorry and we’ll do our very best to make it up to you.

How do I make a return?

We’ve tried to make it as simple as possible. Just drop us a mail to let us know what you’re returning so we can know to expect it.

You then have 2 choices as to how you make your return;

  • Pop your piece in the post back to us, we recommend using a recorded delivery so you’re sure it gets to us. Don’t forget to include your contact details so we know who it’s from, you’d be surprised how many forget and then we’re like Inspector Clouseau, and we’re much better stylists than we are detectives! Once we receive your parcel we’ll be in touch to process your return. Our mailing address is

Slamona Clothing Ltd,

Tempted,

Skillings House,

Raheny Shopping Centre,

Howth Road,

Dublin 5.

D05 A4Y1.

Phone 01 831 4293 or 085 852 2290

  • If you’re local to our store in Raheny, your return can be dropped back in-store where we’ll be more than happy to help. If you need an exchange we’ll be able to help you there and then, and if you would like a refund then we can accept your return and pass the info to our online team who can process the refund for you through our online system onto the original card that the order was placed on.

How long does it take for my refund to come through?

We’re on the ball with refunds and process them within 5 working days of receipt (it’s often much quicker but just in case we say 5 days!) I might take a few more days for it to hit your account, but that’s on the bank.
